Great to meet you!

My name is Deana Fisher, I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker In Michigan with 40 years experience helping people achieve their goals. I believe in exploring those messages from childhood and young adulthood that are holding you back from being your best self, and helping you to let go of fear, anger, depression and anxiety .

My approach to therapy

We will start by talking about what you would like to achieve in therapy, and also what might be interfering with your life. We will explore past traumas and how they might impact goal setting for your future. I will provide you with tools to work through anxiety, depression, ADHD and autism symptoms. We will go as slowly as you need, so that you will be comfortable sharing.

What you can expect from me

You and I will set your long and short term therapeutic goals together, and we will map out what needs to happen between sessions to meet those goals. Most often, there is "homework" assigned, such as increasing self care, or journaling. I also provide tools, such as worksheets, of exercises to work on between session. Creating change is hard work, but we will do it, step by step, together!
