Great to meet you!

I have been working with individuals, couples and families for many years. My career began in early childhood education but quickly lead me to understand the best way to help a child was to help their parents with whatever issues they were struggling with. My inquisitive nature encourages me to seek answers for questions and concerns and I bring this skill into my therapeutic work. I have worked and lived life as I pursued degrees in education, family studies, pastoral ministry, child development and research.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is client centered meaning my clients lead with identifying those things they are most concerned about. Our sessions take a systems approach that is solution focused built on clients' goals. Though the therapy session is essential to our work it is carried into the client's world using assignments that provide support through mindfulness and opportunity for change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session allows us to learn about each other and what to expect with therapy. We work towards problem identification and explore how our work together could take shape: Focus of the sessions, Frequency of meetings, and the Creation of Goals to guide our work.
