Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Debby Falusi, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience in mental health care. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry, substance use treatment programs, correctional facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.

I believe that mental health care should be compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. My approach focuses on creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in their treatment decisions. I work closely with each client to understand their unique experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals.

My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy while utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their mental well-being.

I understand that seeking help can be difficult, and I strive to make the process as comfortable as possible. Whether you are experiencing new mental health concerns or managing a long-standing condition, I am committed to supporting you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and improved quality of life.

I look forward to partnering with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and helps you move toward your personal goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered. I believe that every individual deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with dignity and respect. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and actively participating in their treatment decisions.

I use an evidence-based approach that combines thorough psychiatric assessment, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy to help clients achieve their mental health goals. I recognize that each person's experiences, challenges, and strengths are unique, so I tailor treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each client.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, or other mental health concerns, I am committed to working alongside you to develop practical strategies that promote healing, resilience, and long-term wellness. My goal is not only to address symptoms but also to help clients improve their overall quality of life and achieve meaningful personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I will take time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and learn about your personal, medical, biopsychosocial, and mental health history. We will discuss the symptoms or challenges that brought you to treatment, how they are affecting your daily life, and what goals you hope to achieve through care.

This initial appointment is designed to be a collaborative conversation in a comfortable and nonjudgmental environment. I encourage clients to ask questions and share any concerns they may have about treatment. Together, we will explore factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and identify your strengths and support systems.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of your mental health needs and a personalized treatment plan. This may include recommendations for medication management, therapy, lifestyle modifications, or additional resources to support your well-being. My goal is to ensure that you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we begin your journey toward improved mental health and overall wellness.
