Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Deborah E. Jones, PhD, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adults find balance, resilience, and renewed purpose. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach to care—combining evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy to promote lasting emotional wellness.

I’ve worked in nursing for more than 30 years across clinical care, education, and leadership, and for the past eight years I’ve specialized in psychiatric mental health as a nurse practitioner. My specialties include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns, and I especially enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to invest in their personal growth and well-being.

At Deborah E. Jones, Psychiatry & Mental Wellness, PLLC — A Lucid Collaborative, my goal is to create a therapeutic space where insight, healing, and clarity come together—empowering you to live with greater peace and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both collaborative and holistic. I believe that healing begins with understanding the whole person—their story, strengths, and goals. In our sessions, I focus on building trust, fostering insight, and creating a space where you feel supported and empowered to take an active role in your care.

I integrate medication management with therapeutic conversation to promote balance and sustainable mental wellness. My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related challenges, and I tailor each treatment plan to your individual needs.

Together, we’ll explore what wellness looks like for you and develop strategies that enhance emotional resilience, clarity, and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free, and conversational space where you can feel comfortable and heard. I’ll start by getting to know you—your personal goals, current concerns, and any symptoms you may be experiencing. We’ll also talk about your history, lifestyle, and past treatment experiences so I can gain a clear understanding of your unique needs.

Together, we’ll begin creating a personalized care plan that may include therapy, medication management, or both—depending on what feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave our session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful, with a sense of direction and partnership in your care.
