Great to meet you!

I am currently working towards my PhD in Psychology. I received my Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas and Florida. I only work with adults aged 18 and over. I specialize in working with adults who have trauma backgrounds, late-diagnosed ADHD, late-diagnosed Autism, Anxiety, Depression & PTSD.

My approach to therapy

I focus on affirming each person's right to autonomy and self-identity in counseling. My belief is that we work as a team to best help you create your best life. I help clients reduce symptoms and improve their daily functioning.I have been trained in various modalities including TFCBT, TFCPT, EMDR, and ACT.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I go over the legal paperwork with clients first before conducting a thorough clinical interview. In our interview, I gather client history and background of the presenting problem. I may do assessments if time permits. We will establish what your treatment goals are. Finally, I will tell you all about what to expect in therapy with me including how to schedule future appointments, how to contact me, and what you can expect from therapy with me.
