Great to meet you!

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I bring a thoughtful and holistic approach to evaluation and treatment. I recognize that every person is more than a diagnosis, and that mental health concerns can affect the entire family. When working with children and adolescents, I believe in partnering with both the young person and their caregivers while honoring each child's unique strengths, personality, and experiences.

I received my RN education at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, and my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Cincinnati.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I take the time to listen, understand the whole person, and work together to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs, your goals, and your life. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where people of all ages can feel comfortable talking about difficult things. My goal is not simply to treat symptoms, but to help each person move toward greater confidence, resilience, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

A thorough evaluation is the first step toward understanding what is happening and why. I take time to listen to your concerns, explore your history and strengths, and develop a clear understanding of the challenges you are experiencing. Together, we will create an individualized treatment plan based on your goals, preferences, and needs. Treatment may include education, behavioral strategies, therapy recommendations, lifestyle approaches, medication, or a combination of these.
