Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, providing individual counseling. I have 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, working with diverse populations. I have specialized in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress and relationship problems, issues related to chronic medical conditions, and personality disorders. I have many years of experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trauma informed care.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a mindfulness and self compassion based approach, and in each personal's ability to challenge their own thoughts. I am here to listen without judgment, and support you in your recovery and improvement. I use psychoeducational materials, helping you learn about what your options for treatment are. I use a holistic approach from evidenced based practices that can use all of a person's strengths to get better.

What you can expect from me

It takes a lot of courage to begin to face your issues in therapy, but I am a firm believer there is always hope. Each person brings their own unique stories and strengths, and we can use those to help manage anything you are dealing with. You can expect to learn coping skills tailored to your needs.
