Great to meet you!

My name is Deborah Tiger, and you can call me Debbie! I have worked in the mental health field for over 30 years in a variety of roles, and chose to move forward and become a licensed clinician. I have been licensed for 6 years and bring both professional expertise and real-world perspective to our work together. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you as you navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

I use a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach and specialize in treating trauma, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. I am a direct, honest person, and I also bring a warm sense of humor when it feels right. In sessions, I take an active, collaborative role, helping you build practical skills and strategies to better understand and manage your mental health symptoms.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on getting to know you as a whole person. We will explore your typical day, your strengths, and the coping skills that have helped you so far. We will also talk about what has not worked in the past and which symptoms feel most troubling right now. Together, we will begin creating a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
