Great to meet you!

If you're carrying relationship stress, a difficult season at work, or depression, anxiety, or mood challenges that keep showing up — you've found a therapist who has truly seen it all. I'm Deb, an LMFT in Minnesota with 30 years of clinical experience and something most therapists don't have: nearly three decades of additional experience in business and corporate settings. That combination means I bring a grounded, practical lens to the career and workplace challenges many of my clients navigate alongside everything else. I work with folks dealing with relationship issues, self-esteem and personal growth, depression, bipolar, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and some personality disorders. And if Christian counseling feels right for you, I offer that too — but only if you ask for it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and built around what you actually need. I draw from CBT, DBT, Adlerian therapy, REBT, Rogerian, Solution Focused, and Positive Psychology — after 30 years I've learned which tools work for which people, and I adjust as we go. Adlerian therapy, which I trained in specifically, looks at how your early experiences shaped the patterns you're living out today. Some folks want to understand the roots of things. Others want practical skills to change what isn't working. We can do both.

What you can expect from me

Before we meet, I'd love for you to send me three things you're hoping to get out of therapy — that small step helps me show up more prepared for you. In our first session, we'll talk through what's going on, what's brought you here, and what you'd like to be different. By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of direction and a feel for whether we're a good fit. I hope to have the privilege of working with you.
