Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Deitra. I’m a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with more than 13 years of experience walking alongside people through life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—supporting individuals with employment, housing, ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) services, homelessness, case management, and leadership. What I’ve learned from all of these experiences is that every person has a story worth hearing and a strength worth building on.
I specialize in working with adults, teens, and families who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and big life changes. My clients often share that they feel truly seen, supported, and encouraged in our sessions. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can open up, process what you’re going through, and learn strategies that bring real relief and growth.
In our work together, I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused techniques, but I always tailor therapy to fit your unique needs. I believe therapy is a partnership—we’ll move at your pace, focus on what matters most to you, and celebrate your progress along the way.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready to invest in yourself, I’d love to support you. Reaching out for help is a brave step, and you don’t have to walk this path alone.
