I take a holistic and adaptable approach to help you build insight and explore and understand patterns.
I used an integrated therapeutic style, utilizing evidence-based strategies from various models such as Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Structured Family Therapy, and Person-Centered psychotherapy. Other therapeutic approaches used include play therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing Therapy, among others. Knowing multiple approaches allows me to tailor therapy to fit each person’s treatment needs. Beyond all techniques and therapeutic modalities, I believe that the therapeutic relationship built between therapist and client is fundamental to the process of healing, and I make every effort to ensure that this is established early on. The safe and open environment of that relationship can serve as a blueprint for your experiences of everyday life and can guide us on how to address any difficulties and conflicts, interpersonal or otherwise.
