Great to meet you!

I’m Demarra West, a licensed therapist, executive coach, and holistic wellness practitioner with more than 16 years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, grief, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

My work is deeply shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I understand how trauma can affect the mind, body, relationships, sense of safety, and overall wellbeing. Because of this, I approach therapy with compassion, honesty, and care while helping clients better understand the patterns, beliefs, and survival responses that may be keeping them stuck.

In addition to clinical therapy, I’m trained in trauma responsive practices, mindfulness, somatic healing, trauma sensitive yoga, meditation, and Reiki. I often integrate these approaches to support clients in healing beyond talk therapy alone.

I work with adults from many different backgrounds, including professionals, caregivers, entrepreneurs, helping professionals, and individuals navigating the long term effects of stress and trauma. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and build lives rooted in peace, clarity, and self trust.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma responsive, supportive, and collaborative. I understand that many emotional struggles, stress responses, and coping patterns are often connected to difficult life experiences, trauma, or chronic stress. In our work together, I help clients better understand these patterns, process emotions in a safe and supportive space, build healthier coping tools, strengthen boundaries and relationships, and reconnect with themselves in a more grounded and compassionate way. My style is warm, honest, and nonjudgmental, and I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for each client.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy.

We’ll discuss your current challenges, stressors, goals, and any experiences you feel comfortable sharing. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable beginning the healing process.
