Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 23 years of experience delivering compassionate and professional health care to individuals of all ages. I received my bachelor of nursing degree from Mountain State University and earned my Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health, from Walden University. I am board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

My professional interests include attention disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and trauma-related conditions, with a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced life-changing events and feel stuck in their current circumstances. I focus on patient-centered care by building strong relationships and creating personalized treatment plans that meet each patient’s needs. I’m skilled in both medication and non-medication treatments, including therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and lifestyle changes.

Outside my clinical work, I’m passionate about advancing mental health education and awareness. I stay updated with the latest research and am dedicated to improving mental health care. Socially, I enjoy walking, practicing Pilates, Yoga, mindfulness, and spending time with friends and family by the water.

My approach to therapy

Guided by the philosophy, “Live simply so that others can simply live,” I approach care with humility, empathy, and respect. This helps me focus on providing compassionate and effective support for a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

What you can expect from me

"As your psychiatric provider, my goal is for every session to feel like a safe, judgment-free space where your voice is heard, your concerns are validated, and your progress is a shared priority. By the end of each session, you can expect to walk away with:

  • Clarity around what you're feeling and why.
  • A tailored treatment plan that fits your unique goals—whether that includes therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, or all three.
  • Education about your mental health so you’re empowered to make informed decisions.
  • Next steps that feel realistic, actionable, and supportive of your growth. Most importantly, you’ll leave knowing you’re not alone—because this journey, from stability to healing, is one we walk together."
