Great to meet you!

Deniece R. McAdory, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience. Her diverse background in both primary and psychiatric care uniquely equips her to understand the complex relationship between physical and mental health. Deniece specializes in treating a range of mental health conditions including, but not limited to, Depression, PTSD, Mood Disorders, ADHD, and anxiety.

Her approach to care is warm, collaborative, and deeply person-centered. Deniece is committed to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel safe, heard, and respected. She believes in meeting each patient where they are and partnering with them to develop a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan that reflects their specific goals, needs, and life circumstances.

Deniece’s philosophy is rooted in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She understands that mental health does not exist in isolation and often intersects with other aspects of a person’s life, such as physical wellness, relationships, spirituality, and personal identity. As such, she incorporates a holistic perspective into her practice, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle counseling, and mindfulness-based strategies.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and respectful. I believe in meeting people where they are, without judgment. Every patient brings a unique story, and I consider it a privilege to help them navigate their path toward healing. I work alongside patients to create personalized plans that reflect their values and strengths.

What you can expect from me

During every session, patients can expect thoughtful, personalized care focused on finding the most effective and well-tolerated treatment plan. I take time to review how medications are working for you, discuss any side effects or concerns, and make adjustments as needed to support your mental wellness.

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your medications—their benefits, potential side effects, and how they fit into your overall treatment plan. I am committed to answering your questions and empowering you to be an active participant in your care.

Beyond just prescribing, I focus on monitoring your progress, providing education, and collaborating with you to ensure your treatment aligns with your goals and lifestyle. My goal is to help you feel balanced, stable, and supported on your path to healing.
