Great to meet you!

As a veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I understand the importance of trust, resilience, and having someone who truly listens without judgment. My approach to therapy is grounded in real-world experience, cultural humility, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I offer a steady, grounded presence to help clients build emotional strength, develop healthier patterns, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and manageable.

My approach to therapy

I’ve spent over 10 years in the school system working with Pre-K to 12th-grade students and their parents, giving me a strong understanding of child development.

I work with depression, anxiety, grief, and stress, using targeted, evidence-based strategies.

With a culturally informed approach, I offer honest, and practical guidance.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and understood. We’ll start by talking about what brings you in, what you hope to work on, and any questions you have. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel ready for—there’s no pressure to “get it all out” at once.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your story, your background, and what’s been weighing on you. This helps me tailor our work together to your needs, whether it’s trauma-informed care, depression, anxiety, grief, or stress management.

We’ll also review confidentiality, boundaries, and how therapy works. By the end of the session, we’ll have a plan for next steps and a sense of how we can move forward together at a pace that feels right for you.

My intention is for that first session to feel safe, grounding, and collaborative—like a space where you can breathe a little easier and know you’re not alone in this work.
