Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with two decades of experience specializing in behavioral health and substance use. After establishing a strong therapeutic alliance, I focus on helping clients understand and overcome their challenges, particularly those rooted in adverse childhood experiences and misunderstood behaviors. If you feel stuck and uncertain about your next steps, let’s work together to discover the best way forward.

My approach to therapy

Drawing on my professional experience, we uncover the root causes of excessive substance use and embark on the recovery process. Together, we will explore the painful effects of underlying traits that may have contributed to these challenges. Next, we will identify cultural and environmental risk factors associated with your substance use. Then, we will cultivate a partnership focused on revealing your strengths, helping you break free from feelings of being stuck, and achieving the recovery you deserve.

What you can expect from me

Our first therapy session will offer an opportunity for exploratory listening and discussion. I understand how challenging it can be to feel trapped by your struggles, and I’m here to listen without judgment. From there, we’ll identify your goals and discuss the objectives necessary to achieve them, helping you shift from feeling stuck to becoming unstuck. Your active participation and dedication throughout the process are crucial in shaping your recovery success.
