Great to meet you!

Hello, I am DeShonda Davis, LMSW-C, CCIS-II, a dedicated Licensed Clinical Master Social Worker and Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist. Rooted in personal faith and professional purpose, I have committed my career to helping individuals and families find safety, stability, and lasting healing. My professional background specializes in family preservation, trauma-informed care, and crisis stabilization. I hold both a Bachelor and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, and my clinical practice is grounded in advanced certifications in Crisis Intervention (CCIS-II) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are on their unique mental health journey. My practice is dedicated to providing a safe, collaborative space for children, teens, young adults, and women who are navigating the heavy burdens of stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, and challenging life transitions. Together, we will work to deeply understand your past and present experiences, unpack unconscious patterns, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

What you can expect from me

Partnering with me means entering a collaborative and completely non-judgmental space where you set the pace. I do not subscribe to a one-size-fits-all methodology; instead, I adapt my style to match your unique personality, comfort level, and emotional needs.
