Great to meet you!

I began working in the field of Clinical Mental Health Counseling much later in my professional career. I trained to be a Dental Surgeon and thought that was what my career would advance in. But as we know life to be full of curve balls, I experienced one that altered the course of my career and life. Unforeseen challenges and circumstances led me to a crossroad that ultimately ended up fulfilling my unknown purpose in life. It was those crossroads that facilitated my decision to pursue a second career in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and it was the best I’ve ever made. I’ve seen the highs and lows, struggles and challenges, decisions and fears that come along with life changes. I’ve lived and grown through them to get to this point, where I can be a small part in your journey of revival, as some others have been in mine. I founded Radical Revive PLLC to be a place that helps me make a small difference in our community.

My approach to therapy

Radical Revive PLLC is a space that celebrates the uniqueness that we have within us. It caters to the individuality and provides a personalized approach to counseling. As a counselor, I focus on the most important factor that is responsible for positive change and that is the Therapeutic Relationship. The Therapeutic Relationship is the foundation that fosters change. It is not just a space, it is a belief that honors the human connection in its entirety, without judgment. It harnesses the strength of support and helps create a new mindset by healing and nurturing the sore and seasoned inner wounds.

What you can expect from me

I can help you understand your concerns through a person-centered approach that supports your individuality and uniqueness. I can help you identify your strengths and harness them for problem-solving. You can become your own empathetic, non-judgmental safe space to grow for yourself through self-acceptance, self-advocacy to facilitate a desired self-revival.

It can be daunting to take the first step towards healing ourselves and our relationships. I can provide the space to help you do that through my understanding of cultural factors and affirming stance that is accepting and empowering. I can help you in understanding the source of your stressors that impact your self-worth, self-esteem, and your inner peace.
