Great to meet you!

I bring more than 20 years of healthcare experience into my therapy practice, working with individuals and families across cardiology, pediatrics, substance abuse treatment, labor and delivery, discharge planning, and medical-surgical care. I’m naturally people-oriented and believe meaningful healing begins with feeling truly seen and understood. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by resilience, personal growth, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges with support, compassion, and practical guidance.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and substance abuse concerns, helping them better understand patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create lasting change. I believe therapy should feel supportive and empowering—not intimidating. Drawing from decades of real-world healthcare experience, I offer a practical perspective while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can speak openly and honestly.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming conversation focused on getting to know you, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy. I’ll take time to understand your goals, current stressors, and strengths while helping you feel comfortable in the process. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the direction we’ll take together.
