Great to meet you!

As a culturally competent therapist, I believe in engaging in the clients in their own positive and or negative cultural experiences. I have been working with children and families for over 20 years. My background includes community based social work/therapist-working with families in crisis, assisting youth at risk and elder adults/hospice.

My approach to therapy

I join you in your journey to wellness and emotional well being. We will work together to help you live your best life and create positive outcomes. I am a solution focused therapist as well as a Trauma Informed therapist. I help you explore the key issues that have caused you low self esteem, broken relationships and heal from Trauma.

What you can expect from me

At the introductory session, we get to know each other and you have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I create a safe and warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable in sharing your story. Then, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
