Great to meet you!

I have been a counselor for 20 years, and I work with both adults and couples. And I know counseling works, because I’ve been there. I will never forget the lengthy internal debate “should I or shouldn’t I?” “What difference does it make, talking won’t change things?” And it was SCARY. And I can still get goosebumps when I remember those days, so for me, that is what I want for you, to help you find you joy, help liberate you from painful experiences in your past, and give you tools to truly live your best life. We only have one life, our lives are happening right now, you have the power to create the life you deserve.

My approach to therapy

I offer safety and compassion, a highly interactive experience, and the tools you need to sustain long lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I have incredible respect for the courage it takes to reach out and start this process, and the first order of business to is to foster a sense of safety, and connection. We will get to know each other and figure out what you hope to change as a result of therapy. I often ask "how will you know when you are done?", because ultimately you are in control, your goals are the ones that matter. I will likely want to explore some of your assessments to gain clarity, and I will typically offer you a tool that you can take with you that could be helpful as we begin this journey.
