I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions across the lifespan, with a focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. My approach combines evidence-based practices with a compassionate, patient-centered philosophy.
My approach is holistic and patient-centered, guided by the biopsychosocial model, which considers the interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors in mental health. I commonly utilize CBT to help patients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns, and ACT to promote psychological flexibility and alignment with personal values.
During your first session, I aim to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and concerns. We'll begin by discussing your reasons for seeking care, reviewing your medical and mental health history, and exploring any current symptoms or challenges you're facing.
