Great to meet you!

Diana is a licensed clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of professional experience serving individuals and families in the State of Michigan. Prior experience includes private work supporting children and families in school and social groups, as well as raising her own family, giving her a well-rounded understanding of child development and parenting. Diana is passionate about helping others overcome challenges and improve their life. She received both her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work at Wayne State University. Her extensive background has given her a deep knowledge of community resources, allowing her to connect clients with meaningful supports both inside and outside of the therapy room. Professional experience has included working with diverse populations using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Strength-Based Therapy.

My approach to therapy

Diana has a special passion for supporting men and women navigating life transitions- particularly empty nesters, parents of adult children, women starting careers later in life or returning to the workplace after a time at home, involvement with corrections or Child Protective Services, substance abuse related concerns, and relationship issues. Diana's approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and a strong focus on building genuine connection in the therapeutic relationship. Outside of the therapy room, Diana loves art and music of all genres, movies, hiking, and travel. She enjoys doing puzzles and cherishes spending time with her daughters and granddaughter. Diana is honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth.
