Great to meet you!

Are you suffering with anger, anxiety or depression to the point it affects your daily functioning and relationships? I have a master's degree in Psychology Counseling and have been working in the Mental Health and Substance Use fields both privately and in public health for 19 years. I can help you process your experiences and build a new set of coping skills. I also work with clients struggling with grief and loss. Email me for flexible availability at [email protected] and let's get started.

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach is listening to my client's to get to know them and understand from their perspective what they are experiencing. We set goals and use counseling techniques that sometimes include activities in-session or things to work on for our next session. Counseling is active, solution-focused and done virtually all from the comfort of your home. I also like to end each session on a positive or at least peaceful note so you can feel good about what we just worked on.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a thorough assessment so I know where we are starting from and where you want to get to. We start setting goals at the onset so each session is productive. I will also explain the process and benefits of cognitive restructuring so you understand what we are working toward. I offer very flexible scheduling that includes early mornings for those who prefer this.
