Great to meet you!

Welcome to R3 Center for Behavioral Health and Wellness!

With a lifelong commitment to service, I bring a unique and empathetic outlook to my work as a psychotherapist. My journey began in the military, continued through law enforcement and firefighting, and has led me to over three years of dedicated practice in the mental health and substance abuse field. These diverse experiences have shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, and the importance of community, allowing me to connect deeply with clients from all walks of life.

I am especially passionate about supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, faith-based concerns, and performance or sports anxiety. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop practical coping strategies, and build the confidence to overcome obstacles.

I am a Christian and a proud husband and father, cherishing the time I spend with my family. Our household is also home to two freeloading dogs, who never fail to bring laughter and a sense of lightheartedness to our days. Whether enjoying the outdoors or simply relaxing with my loved ones, I strive to maintain a balance that nurtures both my personal and professional growth.

I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges, offering support, understanding, and encouragement every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I use a trauma-informed approach to support those facing depression, relationship issues, religious concerns, and performance anxiety. I'm passionate about helping public servants—first responders, service members, educators, clergy, and healthcare professionals—and their families by establishing integrated teams of physicians, dietitians, financial experts, and other social service professionals.

I draw on a variety of evidence-based cognitive, behavioral, and humanistic approaches, as well as faith-based approaches. I provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have a keen interest in horticultural therapy. I believe in a holistic, client-centered approach—one that honors each person’s story and empowers them to find their path to healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

At the core of R3 Center for Behavioral Health and Wellness is the belief in the power to reframe, reclaim, and reimagine (R3). I assist clients in shifting their perspectives, reclaiming their strengths and sense of self, and reimagining what’s possible for their future. This process is about more than just overcoming challenges—it’s about finding new ways to thrive.
