Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience providing compassionate, individualized mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults. I have a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and other challenges that can affect daily life and relationships. I believe that every person’s story is unique, and I take the time to understand the individual behind the symptoms and diagnosis.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and involved in your care. I believe in treating the whole person rather than simply treating a diagnosis. When appropriate, I incorporate lifestyle changes, education, therapy, and other supportive approaches alongside medication management. I also value collaboration with therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that your care is comprehensive and aligned with your goals.

I believe that meaningful treatment begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. Our first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, understand what brought you to treatment, and develop a plan together. You do not have to have everything figured out before you reach out—my role is to meet you where you are and help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

When appropriate, I incorporate medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle changes, therapy and collaboration with therapists and other healthcare professionals as part of a comprehensive treatment approach.

What you can expect from me

My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help each client develop a better understanding of themselves and the factors affecting their mental health while working toward meaningful and sustainable improvement. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients can be honest about what they are experiencing without feeling rushed or dismissed. I want clients to leave each visit feeling heard, understood, and empowered with a clear understanding of their treatment plan and the next steps in their journey toward better mental health.
