Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 17 years of experience across a range of settings, including inpatient mental health, medical and palliative care, and private practice. Those experiences have shaped how I show up in the room—both clinically and as a person.

Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to, relatable, and straightforward. I bring a mix of professionalism and personality into sessions, including humor when appropriate, while still keeping the work grounded and meaningful. I’m not a blank-slate therapist—you’ll get real feedback, support, and guidance.

I specialize in working with adults and teens navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD/neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also have a particular interest in supporting individuals in high-demand roles, including caregivers and first responders.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative, supportive space where you don’t have to have everything figured out to show up. My style is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth—I’m not the “just sit back and nod” type. I’ll meet you where you are, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I primarily use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR, but I tailor therapy to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. My work is trauma-informed and often focuses on helping clients better understand themselves, regulate emotions, and build tools they can actually use in real life—not just in session.

I tend to work a lot with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, and life transitions, as well as those carrying a heavy mental or emotional load.
