Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Rehabilitation counseling from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. I have over 9 years of experience in the field. I have served various populations in Outpatient and Inpatient settings. I have experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of issues and concerns.

My approach to therapy

Every individual is unique in their own way, so my approach varies based on each individual experience. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Reality Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy are the primary therapeutic approaches I use. I believe in nurturing a positive trusting relationship between counselor and client which will result in a positive outcome.

What you can expect from me

The journey to healing can be scary but you do not have to be alone. I believe in cultivating a positive/collaborative relationship with my clients in a non- judgemental environment in order to help them reach their goals on the path towards healing. Weather you are experiencing sadness, irritability, feelings of hopelessness, nervousness, on edge, stress, mood swings, trauma, or having a hard time dealing with co-occurring disorders I am here to help.
