Great to meet you!

Hi :-)

I am Donette a doctoral-prepared and board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who believes real healing starts with being truly heard. I bring nearly two decades of nursing experience to my work in integrative mental health.

Most of my clients come to me feeling depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply not like themselves — and together, we find calm again.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, burnout, or focus issues, my goal is simple: to help you feel lighter, clearer, and more in control of your life again.

My approach to therapy

I believe good psychiatric care is about more than prescriptions — it’s about understanding the why behind what you’re feeling. My approach combines traditional psychiatry with integrative, functional care that looks beyond symptoms to identify root causes and restore balance.

Together, we’ll explore how sleep, nutrition, hormones, stress, and lifestyle patterns may be affecting your mood and focus.

Our work together may include medication management, supplementation when appropriate, supportive therapy, and lifestyle strategies designed to enhance your mood, regulate your nervous system and rebuild emotional resilience.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative — you’ll never be rushed or treated like “just another case.”

You can expect open conversations, shared decisions, and a treatment plan designed around you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about connection and understanding your story. I’ll take time to really listen — what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what you want to feel differently in your life.

We’ll go over your symptoms, history, and daily routines to get a full picture of what’s happening beneath the surface. You’ll leave our visit with a clear next step — whether that includes medication options, lifestyle changes, or other supportive strategies — and a sense that you finally have a plan that fits who you are.

My hope is that you walk away from our first meeting feeling heard, supported, and hopeful again.
