Great to meet you!

I am a board-eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a background in medical-surgical nursing and mental health care. My experience has allowed me to work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and emotional burnout.

Beyond my clinical training, I bring a real, human approach to care. I understand that life can be overwhelming, and sometimes people have learned to carry pain in silence while still showing up for everyone else.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I don’t just focus on symptoms; I look at the full picture of your life, including your experiences, environment, and personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe in helping clients not only understand what they are going through, but also develop the clarity and tools needed to move forward. I combine evidence-based treatment with a holistic perspective—addressing both the mind and the life circumstances surrounding it.

I will listen, but I will also challenge you when necessary. Growth requires honesty, and part of my role is helping you see patterns, shift your mindset, and take practical steps toward change.

Care is collaborative. We will work together to create a plan that aligns with your needs whether that includes therapy, medication management, or both.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a safe, open, and structured space where we begin to understand your story.

We will talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will ask questions to get a full picture of your mental, emotional, and medical history, but you are always in control of what you choose to share.

By the end of the session, you can expect:

  • A clearer understanding of what may be going on
  • Initial goals tailored to your situation
  • A plan for next steps

Most importantly, you will leave knowing you are not alone and that change is possible.
