Great to meet you!

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment plans are tailored to each patient's specific needs, goals, and lifestyle, utilizing evidence-based practices while considering the whole person—not just symptoms or diagnoses.

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, OCD, sleep disorders, grief, postpartum depression and anxiety, substance use concerns, and other mental health conditions. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that care is inclusive, affirming, and respectful.

My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered to actively participate in their treatment. Together, we develop realistic goals and strategies that promote emotional wellness, symptom management, resilience, and long-term stability.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with listening, understanding, and building a strong therapeutic relationship. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered, recognizing that every individual's experiences, strengths, and challenges are unique.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to help me understand your concerns, symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals. This session typically involves discussing your current challenges, past mental health treatment, medical history, medications, family history, and other factors that may be impacting your emotional well-being.

During our conversation, I will take time to learn about your experiences, answer questions, and gain a clear understanding of how symptoms are affecting your daily life. Together, we will review potential diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and develop an individualized plan that may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, referrals for therapy, or other supportive resources when appropriate.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling informed, understood, and involved in your treatment decisions. I encourage open communication and welcome questions throughout the process. Building trust and creating a supportive partnership is an important part of achieving meaningful and lasting progress in your mental health journey.
