Great to meet you!

Life can be a rollercoaster ride and there are times when we experience tough moments or frustration. Managing those situations and emotions can be challenging. In life we are taught how to do many tasks and skills but when was the last time someone taught you how to deal with your emotions? My goal is to help you learn how to identify those emotions, learn how to cope, and work through your problems to build your emotional toolbox. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to who will truly listen without judgment and offer support. That is where I am able to assist. I am able to provide either faith-based or secular counseling.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and empathetic, grounded in the belief that every client holds the capacity for growth, healing, and change when provided with the right support. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected for where they are in their journey.

While empathy and presence guide the foundation of my work, I also value accountability and intentionality in the therapeutic process. Together, we identify barriers, patterns, and goals, not to assign blame but to build awareness and ownership that empowers sustainable change.

I aim to meet each client exactly where they are, recognizing that healing isn’t linear and that progress looks different for everyone. Through collaboration, we move at a pace that feels both safe and productive, balancing compassion with gentle challenge when growth opportunities arise.

My style is solution-focused, emphasizing practical tools, insight, and coping strategies that help clients create real shifts in their daily lives. Each session is intentional, designed to cultivate clarity, emotional regulation, and personal responsibility, while maintaining space for exploration and authenticity.

Ultimately, my goal is to help clients strengthen their sense of self, align their actions with their values, and develop confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in anxiety, sports performance/mental health, and relationship issues. My counseling focus also includes grief, anger management, depression, self esteem, parenting, and family conflict. I work with individuals, families, groups, and couples to provide the safe space for growth and change, alleviate distress, and offer healing and hope.

Finding the right therapist is an important decision that is not to be taken lightly. I encourage you to contact me so that we can make decisions together regarding your specific needs and treatment goals. Please be mindful that I accept certain insurances and private pay clients.
