Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated and accomplished Clinical Social Worker (LMSW-C) with extensive experience in child and family welfare, mental health services, and trauma-informed practices. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Social Work, and I am skilled in evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, MI, and PMT. I have provided critical support to diverse populations, including youth aged 5-21 and families, through social work roles in clinical, behavioral health, and child protection.

My approach to therapy

My approach is deeply patient-centered—each session is shaped by the client’s goals, pace, and preferences. I value collaboration, encouraging clients to be active in their healing journey while providing guidance rooted in empathy and professional expertise.

What you can expect from me

  • Identify the primary reasons/concerns for seeking help
  • Collect relevant psychosocial history (family, work/school, health, trauma history, supports).
  • Clarify any immediate safety or risk issues (suicidal ideation, abuse, housing instability, etc.).
  • Collaboratively explore what the client hopes to gain from therapy.
  • Set realistic short-term goals or areas of focus for upcoming sessions.
  • Create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where the client feels safe to talk.
