Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. I specialize in treating both adults and children with mental health conditions, but my true passion is working with children and adolescents. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to care, helping families navigate the complexities of mental health with compassion and support. Guided by Christian principles and evidence-based practices, I strive to empower children and their families with the tools they need to thrive, fostering resilience and hope in every stage of their journey.

My approach to therapy

For children and families, I emphasize collaboration, parent guidance, and skill-building to foster resilience and long-term success. I use a combination of therapy, coaching, and medication management when appropriate, always prioritizing the least invasive and most effective strategies. My goal is to empower individuals with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges, improve emotional well-being, and strengthen relationships.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for families to leave each session feeling empowered, understood, and equipped with practical tools for their mental health journey. I provide a compassionate and judgment-free space where children and families can gain deeper insight into their emotions, behaviors, and challenges. Sessions focus on personalized strategies that promote resilience, emotional regulation, and positive change. Parents can expect to receive guidance on effective parenting techniques that strengthen family relationships and support their child’s growth. For those who value faith-based principles, I incorporate Christian perspectives to offer encouragement, hope, and a sense of purpose. Ultimately, my approach is centered on equipping clients with the confidence, skills, and support they need to navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing.
