Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, licensed in both Arizona and North Carolina, with nearly 20 years of experience walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, helping them build resilience, develop new perspectives, and move toward meaningful change.

My work is rooted in respect, cultural awareness, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to grow. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, gaining insight, and developing the tools needed to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, women navigating life changes, and young adults who feel stuck or unsure of their next steps. I also work with clients experiencing work-related stress, relationship concerns, and adjustment issues that can arise during periods of transition. My goal is to help clients better understand their experiences while developing practical tools to navigate challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

I often use brief, solution-focused approaches for those who want targeted, practical support and are looking to make meaningful changes in a relatively short period of time. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct—I want clients to feel both understood and empowered as we work together to identify patterns, build new skills, and move toward goals that feel authentic and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

My initial session is an opportunity for clients to share their reasons for seeking therapy and discuss what they hope to gain from the process. It’s a time for us to begin getting to know each other and for you to share as much as you feel comfortable about what has brought you to therapy. During this time, we’ll begin exploring your concerns, experiences, and goals in a supportive and open conversation.

Together, we’ll work to develop a plan that feels meaningful and realistic, helping guide our work toward the changes and growth you’re hoping to achieve. This process allows us to create a clear direction for therapy while ensuring that the pace and focus align with your needs, priorities, and personal goals.
