About Me
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and over 30 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, shame, and major life transitions. I specialize in neuro-somatic therapy, a powerful experiential approach that supports deep healing, especially for those dealing with complex trauma or long-standing emotional patterns. I currently work with clients 18 and older.
What is your approach to therapy? My style is warm but direct, with space for nuance, discomfort, and unexpected clarity. I use body-based and mindfulness-informed methods, including Brainspotting, attachment-focused therapy, and somatic awareness. I believe in the concept of “desirable difficulty” — healing isn’t always easy, but it can be purposeful and transformative.
What can clients expect from their first session with you?Our first session is a chance for you to share what brings you in, and what you hope therapy can help you shift or resolve. I aim to create a grounded, welcoming space where you can speak freely and feel seen — no pressure, no pretense. Together, we’ll start to clarify what you want, and begin working toward it from day one.
