Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Dylan, and I am a mental health counselor in Durham, NC. I earned my M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University in 2023. I am especially passionate about supporting members of the queer (LGBTQ+) community and neurodivergent folks through mental health care.

I enjoy working alongside clients as they explore identities and values; manage anxiety, depression, and daily stressors; navigate life transitions; develop relationships and find community; and work towards their goals of living a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

For me, the most important thing a counselor can do is be human and encourage others to do the same. My approach as a therapist is relational and grounded in supporting folks as they build a life that aligns with the things they value most.

My aim is to empower my clients, to encourage self-compassion and positive change, and to celebrate all aspects of their identities. I invite each person I work with to show up exactly as they are and to act as collaborators in their counseling experiences.

What you can expect from me

I am committed to providing a safe and affirming counseling space where you can be your most authentic self without shame or judgment. You can expect me to always be warm, engaged, and curious.
