Great to meet you!

I work with women who are navigating life's transitions while carrying more than anyone sees — burnout, people-pleasing, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship stress, and the exhausting pressure to have it all figured out.

My practice, Take Care Therapy NC, is built around one idea: helping you create a life that feels good, not just one that looks good from the outside. That means going beyond coping and into actually building something — healthier boundaries, more confidence, better relationships, and a clearer sense of who you are outside of everyone else's needs.

I'm a Black female therapist, and I bring that lens to everything I do — especially for women who've felt like they have to translate themselves to be understood. You don't have to do that here. I have 20+ active clients and room for more. I'd love to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, real, and leaves room for both healing and laughter — because some of the best breakthroughs happen when you stop taking yourself so seriously for a minute.

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you stop fighting your thoughts and feelings and start moving toward what actually matters to you. For relationship and family dynamics, I draw on Solution-Focused Couples Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy — practical, goal-oriented work that focuses on what you want to be different rather than dwelling on everything that went wrong.

I also specialize in women with ADD/ADHD — an area that's chronically underdiagnosed and often misunderstood. If that resonates, you're in the right place.

What you can expect from me

The first session is just us getting acquainted. You bring the life stress, I'll bring the support. No judgment, no pressure, and no need to have it all figured out.

Come as you are — messy thoughts, awkward laughs, and all.
