Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe everyone has strengths, even during life’s most difficult seasons, and I enjoy helping clients recognize those strengths as they work toward healing and growth. I strive to meet each person where they are and walk alongside them as they move toward the life they want for themselves.

My approach to therapy

I take a person centered approach, which means therapy is tailored to your needs, not a one size fits all process. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients better understand themselves, work through challenges, and build practical skills they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy should be collaborative, so we’ll work together to identify your goals and take steps that feel realistic and meaningful. My hope is that you’ll leave sessions feeling supported, empowered, and encouraged.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know you. I’ll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll also talk about your goals and answer any questions you have about the therapy process. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. I want you to move at a pace that feels comfortable. My priority is making sure you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
