Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a professional background that includes 15 years in education before transitioning into the mental health field. I earned my bachelor’s degree in English and later completed graduate training in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. I specialize in helping adults navigate relationship concerns, anxiety, grief, divorce and separation, life transitions, and emotional stress. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, helping clients better understand their patterns, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, systemic, and collaborative, with a style that is warm, direct, and practical. I help clients explore how relationship patterns, family dynamics, past experiences, and current stressors influence the way they think, feel, and respond. I specialize in relationship concerns, divorce and separation, grief, anxiety, life transitions, and rebuilding confidence after difficult experiences. I also incorporate evidence-based coping strategies and, when desired, faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space to share what brings them to therapy and what they hope to change. We’ll begin identifying the patterns, concerns, and experiences that are impacting their relationships, emotional well-being, or overall quality of life. Together, we’ll clarify goals for therapy and discuss what progress would look like in a way that feels realistic and meaningful. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction.
