Great to meet you!

I offer professional clinical counseling from a Christian worldview. No matter what you might be struggling with, I am willing to walk alongside to help bear the burden of suffering and hardship, difficulty and pain that comes along with living life on this side of heaven.

I start with a presupposition that God exists, and that He created us in His image. We are also created for relationship with Him through Jesus.

My approach to therapy

In view of this, I approach my sessions and engage with all my clients with the care and compassion of Christ.

Because Jesus rose from the dead, we always have hope in life's most challenging circumstances.

Counseling is a journey and one of my long term aims as a counselor is to walk alongside those who are struggling, and to offer support and counsel that comports with what is good, right and best according to the wisdom of Scripture and the merits of evidence-based practices.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a very structured clinical interview because I need to determine through the initial assessment if I can truly offer the mental health support a client needs.

Afterwards, I aim to be collaborative and supportive to help clients grow and mature, as well as prompt clients to consider new ways of living and thinking (for example, working on 'blind spots').

I often assign homework, maintain a focus on goals and offer to pray with clients if they wish.
