Great to meet you!

I have been providing mental health care to patients at M&M since 2023, and I bring 15 years of nursing experience to my work, including the last seven years as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner. My background includes preventive health, behavioral health, addiction medicine, public health, and correctional care, which has shaped my ability to support clients with compassion, flexibility, and understanding.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University, my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Marymount University, and my post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University. I support individuals navigating bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, personalized, and centered on the whole person. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working together to better understand their experiences, strengths, and goals. Because every client’s story is different, I take time to tailor treatment to their needs, stage of life, and circumstances.

I believe meaningful progress starts with trust. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being honest and engaged in their care. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, improve their emotional well-being, and strengthen their overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

n our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, judgment-free conversation focused on getting to know them as a whole person. We will talk about what brings them in, the challenges they are currently facing, their mental health history, and what they hope to gain from treatment.

The first session is also a chance for clients to ask questions and begin building a connection with me. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, supported, and more confident about the path forward. Together, we will begin identifying next steps and creating a care plan that feels thoughtful, practical, and personalized.
