Great to meet you!

While I have experience in treating substance use, anxiety, and mood disorders, most of my training is in addressing and helping folks to heal from past trauma. To that end, in addition to my Master's degree, I hold the following certificates as proof of my clinical training: Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies, Certification in Prolonged Exposure for the Treatment of PTSD, and I am an EMDR Trained Clinician. I primarily provide individual counseling for adults (ages 18+).

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach incorporates several major theories of counseling. I am Person Centered in my orientation, and I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to EMDR Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, Depth Psychology, and CBT. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. It is my goal that you feel seen and heard, and that your treatment be tailored to your individual needs and life experience.

What you can expect from me

I aim to empower you to reach your goals by providing you with conditions that promote personal growth. I joke that I'm a bit of a nerd, so often, sessions will involve me listening deeply to what you share, and then reflecting back theories, ideas, books, etc. that may create a framework for understanding what you're experiencing or offer helpful strategies. I also believe in treating the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. To that end, I often incorporate mind/body practices into my work.
