I have 30 years of clinical experience. I've worked in private practice, colleges, community agencies, hospitals, and combat zones. I'm licensed in Maryland and Virginia to provide psychotherapy for adults. As a former Army Social Work Officer, I am uniquely qualified to help Servicemembers, Veterans, and their families. ​

With 30 years of experience, I've honed an eclectic approach to therapy, combining insight, problem-solving, and coping skills to provide the highest standard of care. I have expertise in the following topics: anger management, anxiety, coping with chronic pain, depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, grief/loss, low self-esteem, parenting, relationships, stress, substance abuse, trauma, women's issues, and work issues. I've provided trauma services for Hurricane Katrina, 9/11, bank robberies and military deployment.
