Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Elaine Hart, LMHC. I believe therapy is a collaborative, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is compassionate and holistic, focusing on the whole person—not just the challenges bringing you to therapy. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore what may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—not tell you how to live it. I take a holistic approach, considering your emotions, relationships, environment, culture, and overall well-being. Together, we identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that fit your life. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest, explore what’s getting in the way, and feel supported as you work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, your goals, and what you hope to get from counseling. I’ll answer any questions you have and explain how we can work together moving forward. Most importantly, there is no pressure to have everything figured out on day one. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very beginning.
