Elaine Wilson is a compassionate, trauma-informed Licensed Master Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of clinical experience helping adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and 10 years as certified teacher serving on collaborative school teams focused on ADHD, Autism and learning disabilities interventions and parent-focused resources. She offers a warm, supportive, and strengths-based virtual space where clients can feel heard, respected, and encouraged as they work toward healing, resilience and greater life balance. Her background also includes inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, early childhood and foster care teenage services, private practice, and holistic support for clients dealing with their family challenges often associated with diminished self-esteem, grief, caregiving stressors, housing uncertainties, pregnancy distresses, and or addiction recovery.
By being flexible, open-minded and gaining clients trust and input during the healing process, her telehealth sessions will continue to evolve based upon best practices, and clients' needs and goals. As a trained provider working with military individuals and their families with young children and teenagers , she apply motivational strategies, reflective listening, and empowerment to help clients gain deeper insights to cope with military family life adjustments, depression, anxiety, or PTSD . Having lived in a few southern and northern states, being connected to a generation of military family members and working as a trained provider serving military individuals and their families, Elaine continue to respect each client's values, culture, faith, and perspectives that shape each client's life journey. Outside of her work, she look forward to family gathering as an active grandparent of one young grandchild who enjoys receiving her surprises and walking her Yorkshire Terrier.
