Great to meet you!

My philosophy is that positive relationships are the most important aspect to a healthy and fulfilling life. My greatest goal is to help others develop themselves so that they can more easily connect with others and reach a high level of satisfaction in their lives. I am an LCSW-C with a social work degree from New York University (NYU). I practice as a strength-based clinician, specializing in the areas of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and addiction.

My approach to therapy

I use a strength-based approach with the help of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Relationship Therapy. I also offer Family Therapy when the client feels that there are certain issues that would be best worked out in a Family or Couples setting.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away a feeling of empowerment and a deeper understanding of themselves. My goal is to help clients increase their self-esteem so that they can more easily connect with others. I find that many people have a hard time understanding why they do the the things that they do. Once clients are able to connect their behaviors or thoughts to a previous trauma or impactful moment in their life, then they can start the work of changing these negative behaviors and thoughts.
