Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Elena, and I am so happy you have chosen to pursue therapy. I believe a therapist should be kind and approachable, but also provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques. I provide both of those, and I would be happy to work with you. I have been in practice for 37 years and have worked with numerous clients, helping them navigate a wide range of issues and concerns. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I attended LSU for my bachelor's degree and Florida State University for my master's degree in Social Work. Contact me and we can talk about it, see if we are a good fit.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of techniques in therapy, formulated specifically for you. I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy for trauma, Cognitive Behavior Therapy for anxiety and depression, and Interpersonal Therapy to address all of these issues, but specifically daily living problems.

What you can expect from me

You can take away from therapy with me a new sense of hope and a renewed belief in the world. Your symptoms will be reduced, if not gone.
