Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Dance Movement Therapist. I have experience with Intimate Partner Violence survivors, people with severe and persistent mental illnesses, and women's and LGBTQIA+ issues. I received my degree from Naropa University in Dance/Movement Therapy. I am also passionate about social justice advocacy, and addressing how oppressive systems affect mental health.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I like to approach clients with non-judgment and vulnerability, and provide a space for them to be fully themselves. This creates an environment in which people can express and process emotions that might have been challenging in the past. I am deeply passionate about bringing the body into therapy. This typically begins as noticing how you physically feel when experiencing an emotion, and can grow from there.

What you can expect from me

Emotional expression is my main goal in all of my sessions. When people are able to wholly feel emotions cognitively and somatically, they are then able to access the full, authentic version of themselves. This creates connection with yourself and others in a way that people might not have experienced before.
