Great to meet you!

If you're struggling with anxiety, ADHD, or depression that hasn't improved with therapy, you may be exactly who I work with. I also work with people facing relationship challenges, or going through life changes that have left them unsure of themselves.

I'm Dr. Elise. I started my practice because I believe real change happens when we look at the mind and body together, not as separate problems. My background spans clinical psychotherapy, neuroscience, and applied psychophysiology. That means I listen to what you're going through, and I also understand what's happening underneath it in your nervous system, so I can build something that actually works for you.

If any of this resonates with you, I'd be happy to talk.

My approach to therapy

My approach begins with your story, and with what your body is doing while you tell it. Your history tells me what happened. Your nervous system tells me what's still happening. I work with both, because change that lives only in understanding tends not to hold.

From there, I draw on somatic, relational, and cognitive approaches depending on what you actually need. I don't apply a single protocol to every person. I stay curious about what's driving your experience beneath the surface: what's happening in your body, what you're feeling, and how you relate to other people and to yourself. I let that guide how we work.

My style is collaborative and curious. I don't position myself as the expert on your life. I bring clinical knowledge, you bring self-knowledge, and together we figure out what's actually going on and what might actually help.

What you can expect from me

When we begin working together, our first session is dedicated to a thorough intake and assessment. This isn't just paperwork. It's where I begin to understand the full picture of who you are, what you've been carrying, and what you hope to change.

We'll talk about what brought you here now, what you've already tried, and what's been happening physically as well as emotionally: your sleep, your energy, how stress shows up in your body, your health history. All of it matters, and it shapes where we start.

By the end, we'll have the beginning of a treatment plan that's specific to you, and I'll walk you through what our ongoing work looks like, including the written summary you'll receive after each session and the brief weekly check-in you'll fill out before we meet.

My goal is that you leave feeling genuinely heard, and with a clearer sense of what our work together will look like and why.
